Industrial Felt Manufacturing

Bouckaert Industrial Textiles is a manufacturer of industrial needlepunch felt products, custom engineered to fullfill the needs of the end-user. Our applications range from automotive, equestrian and decorative felt to steel-wiping felt.


Bouckaert Industrial Textiles, Inc. was founded in 1988 by Thomas and John Bouckaert to manufacture disaster relief blankets. Shortly thereafter, the company branched out into technical needlepunched felt. Fueled by a desire to succeed and supply a quality product, B.I.T. expanded into the appliance felt industry.

By word of mouth and attention to our customers needs, we have diversified our products to include the automotive felt, equestrian felt and shoe felt markets, along with specialty products for the needs of thesteel wiping and polishing industries.

In 2000, Bouckaert was acquired by the Brickle Group. The Brickle Group brings with it over 75 years of experience in the industrial textile field. Thus, the acquisition now provides for a 100% vertical manufacturing network which controls the quality of wool off the sheep's back, through all stages of industrial felting production, to shipping the finished product.
