Bouckaert Industrial Textiles (BIT), Inc. was founded in 1988 by Thomas Bouckaert to manufacture disaster relief blankets. Shortly thereafter, the company branched out into manufacturing technical needle-punch felt, both wool felt and synthetic, for the nonwovens fabric industry.

In 2000, BIT was acquired by The Brickle Group with over 75 years of experience in the industrial textile field. Supported by the vertical integration of The Brickle Group, BIT expanded its production capabilities and was able to manufacture wool and synthetic felts, both virgin and recycled. Furthermore, as part of The Brickle Group, this allowed us to be able to control the entire flow of nonwoven textiles, from fiber to finished goods. This provides us the ability to offer consistent, high-quality felts from both synthetic and natural fibers at the best price. We also have the ability to produce both large and small production programs whatever your needs.
Today, BIT is the leading US manufacturer of industrial felt products located on the East Coast. With over 6 million lbs. of raw material in stock, a full range of needle-punch, air-lay and finishing capabilities and our highly experienced team, we have the capability to produce low, medium and very high-density felt as well as a myriad of finishes.
We’ve been helping companies turn their ideas in successful products for over 25 years and are ready for your next project no matter the size or complexity. At Bouckaert Industrial Textiles, we look forward to the opportunity to meet your needs and exceed your expectations.
